The paper analyses the main technical and economic index of cold-formed thin-wall steel structure building in energy conservation, water saving, land saving and economical material, and compare with those of reinforcement structure residences and brick masonry structure residences,and analyses the variation of comprehensive benefit considering the effect of utilization area or energy conservation. It notes that the cold-formed thin-wall steel structure building has much more significant advantages than other structure systems.
