As a newly sprung technology, evolvable hardware（EHW） is developing at a dramatic speed. Its hardware structure can be reconfigured to meet the designer＇s need. The paper introduces the basic theory and operational principle of EHW, and analyzes its key technology in application, then puts forward to the new notion of intelligentized self organizing system rehabilitation in future equlpment.
