摘要
文章分析了现在在以太网交换机中大量使用的基于定时器策略发送BPDU数据包的STP算法的弊端,提出了一种自适应时间间隔发送BPDU数据包的算法来提高网络带宽、减小收敛时间。该算法根据网络拓扑变化的缓急自动调整发送BPDU数据包的时间间隔。测试表明在其他条件相同的情况下,该自适应时间间隔发送BP-DU数据包算法比定时发送BPDU数据包更合理地利用了网络带宽,更有效地减小了收敛时间。
The shortcomings of the STP algorithm based on timer-strategy sending BPDU data-packages is analyzed in the paper. The STP algorithm based on timer-strategy is very popular on the Ethernet switchs in the present. A self-adaptive-interval sending BPDU data-package algorithm is proposed to improve the network bandwith and to reduce the convergent-time in the paper.This algorithm adjusts the intervals based on the network topology's change.In the same condition, testing shows that this self-adaptive-interval sending BPDU data-package algorithm spends network band- width more reasonably and reduces the convergent-time more effectively.
