Technology for Manufacturing Fused Zircon Corundum Refractories

众所周知,电熔错刚玉砖是当前玻璃工业窑炉的主要筑炉材料,它具有耐高温、抗侵蚀的特点。随着玻璃工业窑炉向大型化、全保温型发展,对电熔锆刚玉砖提出了更高的要求。

Based on his own experience and the practice of some refractory manufacturing planta at home, the author has presented an overall review of the technology for manufacturing fused zircon corundum refractories including the main raw materials employed, the technologies and processes, the mould making, the compositions, physical and chemical properties of the product, and the methods for catting and pre-assembling of the product. It is helieved that a furhter wide-spread use of oxidization technology in manufacturing fused zircon corundum refractories and a further development in the pre-assembling of the product are worth the pains-taking work from our refractory industry in the days coming.
