The reason why there were rich achievements in file editing and studying in Song Dynasty was due to the great amounts of organizations of file editing and studying. In Song Dynasty, many central key organizations had file editing and studying departments, which were responsible for the file compiling work for the organizations. Individual persons also made certain achievements in compiling history by using the file documents in Song Dynasty.
