如何对港口水域快速机动目标船实行较好地稳定跟踪，并提高两船录取和跟踪的分辨率，一直是港口ＶＴＳ雷达数据处理系统所要解决的重要问题。本文设计了一种包括自适应原理等特殊技术的Ｋａｌｍａｎ滤波递推算法，并进行计算机模拟，结果表明该算法是有效的。
