The varieties of the regulating valve in PTA plant are mixed,its numbers are a lot,its maintenance is difficult. Because of its technolog process and operation reasons,the breakdown were happened frequently. The breakdown often occured in the application of various regulating value such as leakage,valve abnormal running were analysed,the counter measures were put forward. Also the correct selection and installadon of filler and distance washer were introduced.
