An Analysis of Plants in Suzhou Classical Gardens from Landscaping Perspective

文章通过研究中国传统园林———苏州园林中植物的造园、建构主题、修饰及衬托等手法,从“景”、人所处的植物空间的角度入手,论述中国的园林植物景观艺术和景观设计的文化特色及民族精神。

This paper studies the techniques of garden making, theme constructing, decorating, and setting off in Suzhou Classical Gardens. Besides, it discusses the Chinese particular landscaping art from the view of the plant space where the landscape and visitors are encompassed, in the hope of highlighting the cultural characteristics of the landscaping design and enhancing the national cultural spirit.
