“索性”的历时考察:功能演变及语义分化

The Syntax and Semantic Derivation of "索性"

本文从历时的层面考察了“索性”的句法功能的变化及其语义的分化情况,指出:“索性”在近代汉语中具备多种功能———作谓语、定语、状语,其语义也由基本义派生多种意义。“索性”在现代汉语中功能单一化———作状语,句法功能的减少并未使原初的语义完全丧失。一般的词典多用“干脆”来训释“索性”,但在某些句子中,两者不能互换,可见其语义上尚存一定差异。

The present paper deals with the changes of the word ＂索性＂ in syntax and its differentiation at semantic level over the times. It points out that in recent times, the word ＂索性＂ can function as predicate, attribute and adverbial. Meanwhile, many different meanings have derived from its original meaning semantically. Now, however, it can only function as adverbial, but it does not lose its original meaning. More often ＂索性＂ is explained with ＂干脆＂ in many dictionaries, but the two words are not interchangeable in some sentences, because there are great difference between them semantically.
