This paper discusses the principle and advantages of AC/DC converters with current-mode control. Based on the system analysis, the mathematical model of the system is established; the transfer function of current-mode control circuit is acquired, making it possible to design the compensation network of the converter in frequency domain. Simulations and experiments ensure the effectiveness of this method.
