摘要
顿在译诗诗行内的节奏包括“字—顿”、“顿—诗行”两个层次。顿的划分应同时考虑到语音与语义,以顿数代替原诗行音步数,也应灵活变通,着眼于整体意义的传达。在译诗行内与顿内,译者应注意半音阶字在节奏上的调节作用,扩大可选择的字组范围,以提炼现代汉语的精髓,形成舒促交错的节奏感和言简义丰的诗行,使译诗在节奏、语域与意义上自我统一,并尽可能地接近原诗。
The rhythm of translated poems engendered by word-clusters includes two levels: the level within word clusters ("words-word cluster") and the level between word clusters ("word clusters-word clusters"). Division of word clusters should be based on both the sound and sense of words. Translators should: a) flexibly substitute word clusters for feet of the original lines with an eye to conveying the overall sense of the original poem; b) realize the unstressed words'mediating function in rhythm within lines and word clusters; c) broaden the scope of word clusters available to achieve the variety of rhythms and expressive effect of the words, so that the translated poem is uniform in rhythm, register and sense, keeping itself as close to the original poem as possible.
