摘要
在移动自组网上直接应用标准TCP协议,网络性能会因比特出错率高、网络拓扑经常变化等原因大幅下降。该文提出了一种辅助标准TCP的方案,结合ICMP消息分析网络状况,适时修改TCP发送窗口,从而实现了适应移动自组网环境的窗口管理策略,有效地提高了网络的吞吐量。
Standard TCP is designed for fixed network, and it assumes that the physical layer is reliable. In mobile Ad Hoc network(MANET), these are not true any more, so the performance of TCP is poor in MANET. This paper proposes an auxiliary scheme for standard TCP, which analyzes network situation at the assistance of ICMP message, and then adjusts TCP's windows for sending at proper time so that network throughput can be improved in MANET.
