摘要
量子点具有传统荧光染料和镧系配合物无法比拟的荧光特性:宽的激发光谱、窄的发射光谱、更长的寿命等。文章概述了量子点的光学特性和制备方法,并着重介绍了其作为荧光标记物在生物学中的应用。
Quantum dot (QD) is a semiconducting nanocrystal which provides amazing fluorescent advantages over organic dyes and lanthanide probes, In particular the wide exciting wavelength and the narrow, symmetric emission spectra and the high stabilization against photobleaching. In this review, both the optical characteristics of QD and the preparation methods are summarized, with an emphasis on its biological application as fluorescence labels.
