On the Influence of the Traditional Culture on the Honest Government Culture

传统廉政文化已深深地融于人们的思想意识和行为规范之中,甚至内化为人们的一种文化组织和性格,并渗透到社会生活的各个领域。传统文化虽然不能从根本上消除腐败,但也不失为一种有效的社会控制力量。从传统文化的习惯特性与作用机理来看,传统文化对廉政文化的影响主要体现在两个方面:一是正面影响,一是负面影响。

The traditional honest government culture has been deeply melted in people＇s ideology and the behavior standards. It has also penetrated into every walks of social life. The traditional culture, although, cannot fundamentally eliminate the corruption, it is indeed an effective social controlling power.Analyzing the features and the action mechanism, we could find that traditional culture has both positive and negative influence on the honest government.
