近年围绕英国学者孟席斯关于郑和环球航行的观点,学术界说法不一。查阅各类史籍及金石原件和家谱,结合明代的社会历史背景,郑和环球航海之说与史实不符,不能盲从。

There have been controversies among the scholars over the English scholar Menzies＇ conclusion about Zheng He＇s global voyage. Through a study of history books, original epigraphs and geologies as well as the social and historical backgrounds of the Ming Dynasty, the author of this paper concludes that there has been no evidence to support Menzies＇ conclusion.
