摘要
针对汽车辅助制动系统的需求,研制开发车用电流变液力缓速器。为此,研制开发了可控高压电源,配制了电流变液,在充分研究电流变液的粘度特性后,进行了电流变液力缓速器制动特性的研究。试验结果表明:同传统液力缓速器相比电流变液力缓速器具有结构简单,可控性好的特点;但与同体积的电涡流缓速器相比电流变液力缓速器的制动力矩只有其1/3左右,但损耗的电源功率只有其1/100左右。
An electrorheological (ER) fluid retarder was developed to meet the requirements of the auxiliary brakes. A controllable high voltage power supply was designed and a kind of ER fluid was confected. After the study of the viscosity characteristics of the ER fluid, the research on the braking performance of the ER fluid retarder was made. The test results show that the structure of the ER fluid retarder is more simple than that of the traditional one. While at the same time,the controllability of the former is better. The braking torque of the ER fluid retarder is 1/3 of that of the electric eddy current retarder with the same size,but the power consumption of the former is only 1/100 of that of latter.
