On Translation of Long Sentences from the Point of the Contrast between the English Language and the Chinese Language

本文从长句产生的原因和长句的基本分析方法入手,阐述了长句的翻译基本方法,并且本文还从英汉语言对比的角度,探讨了英汉两种语言的差异性在句子结构方面和用词方面的主要表现特征。

The paper intends to discuss basic strategies employed in translation of long sentences. On the basis of a detailed analysis of hoe they are formed and analyzed. And also from the point of the contrast between the English language and the Chinese language the author explores the main characteristics of the difference in two kinds of languages embodied in sentence structures and words.
