From Plato in ancient Greece to Confucius in ancient China, from Marx to some contemporary aesthetes, people all pay special attention to the deep influences of aesthetics on people＇ s development. Aesthetics can help develop people＇s intelligence, promote the coordinated growth of people＇s perceptual and rational capacity, improve people＇s creativity, enrich people＇s emotion, mold and purify people＇s soul, make people noble, promote people＇s personality and bring about an advance in the perfection of people＇ s individual character. All these influences are elaborated in this paper.
