Application of Highly Effective Demulsifying Agent for Extraction of Penicillin from Fermentation Broth

本文介绍了我国青霉素生产中使用的破乳剂现状,对破乳机理进行了比较详细的阐述。新型高效破乳剂D925m采用了混合的表面活性剂体系,可调性好,适应性强,已受到国内主要青霉素生产厂家的关注。

In this paper,a review is presented focusing on the application of demulsi-fying agents added in the commercial production of penicillin during extraction from fermentation broth. The factors affecting mechanism of emulsion and demulsification are discussed in detail. It is proposed that an efficient demulsifying agent should be a mixture of 4 ingredients. A series of demulsifying agents D925m have been developed. D925m has been successfully nsed in many commercial processes for extraction of penicillin to prevent emulsion formation on the production lines with various specification of centrifugal extractors. The principal producers of penicillin in China are now using our demufifier in their production with satisfaction.
