图式是“背景知识”,是人们存储于头脑中所有对世界的一般认识,它是人类知识的心理表征形式。将图式理论运用于翻译实践,可以说翻译即图式翻译。在图式翻译过程中译者应对文本的语言图式、语境图式和文化图式成功转译,方能使读者正确获取源语信息。

The idioms are of rich expressions of Christian culture and will arouse associations. So it is better to keep the original image, the associations and the culture characteristics in translation. This paper discusses the translation strategies of the idioms from religious culture translating literally to keep the original image, paraphrasing, translating literally with paraphrase, translating with a note, and so on.
