Tourism is the closely related to nature and society, which is the base of tourism development. So, the development of tourism cannot destroy nature and society and strategy of sustainable tourism shall be performed. This paper covers the background of sustainable tourism theory, deeply analyzes the problems faced in sustainable development, and provides the actions that should be taken for sustainable tourism.
