Hong Ke is a writer obsessed by the nature. In his novels, the nature is no longer a simple material background which needs to be changed by people, but a spiritual object which provides people with rational illumination and surviving power. This article, based on the specific geographic features, the humanistic enviroment and the real life of Northwest China, is trying to analyse the influences of these factors in Hong Ke＇s writings.
