摘要
目的:探讨大鼠C6脑胶质瘤MR I所测参数与其组织病理学的相关性。材料和方法:运用立体定向方法建立大鼠C6胶质瘤模型,并于C6细胞植入后1、2、3周行MR I平扫及增强扫描,同期取脑行病理组织学检查,对MR I所测肿瘤体积、肿瘤增强程度和EI与MVD和VEGF表达进行相关分析。结果:大鼠C6脑胶质瘤MR影像表现与文献报道相似,新生肿瘤血管和VEGF表达主要位于肿瘤周边;随着C6细胞植入时间的延长,肿瘤体积、EI、MVD逐渐增大,其差别具有统计学意义;VEGF表达与MVD呈正相关,二者分别与肿瘤体积、肿瘤增强程度、EI之间呈正相关。结论:MR I能够反映大鼠C6脑胶质瘤的动态生长特征,与VEGF表达和MVD的动态变化密切相关。
Purpose: To study the growth characteristics of rat C6 brain gliomas on MRI and the correlation with pathology especially including expression of VEGF and MVD. Materials and Methods: C6 cells were inoculated into the right caudate nucleus of 30 Wistar rats by stereotactic procedure to established animal model, then MR scan including contrast enhancement and pathology were performed at different stages of tumor development. The correlation was analyzed between tumor volumes, increased enhancement and El of the tumor detected on MRI and MVD and expression of VEGF on pathology. Results: The characteristics of rat C6 brain gliomas on serial MRI was similar to what was reported in the literatures, and angiogenesis and expression of VEGF, which were observed mainly in the peripheral areas of the tumors, were found on 2 weeks and 1 week respectively after implantation of the tumors. Tumor volume, El and MVD increased gradually over the 3- week postimplantation period and there was significant difference among the groups ( P 〈 0.05). Both MVD and expression of VEGF positively correlated to tumor volume, increased enhancement and El of the tumors on MRI, and r, was 0.486, 0. 620,0. 685 and 0. 653,0.489, 0. 824 respectively ( P 〈0.05). Conclusion: MRI could reflect progression of rat C6 brain gliomas and there was close correlation between the parameters on MRI and dynamic changes of MVD and expression of VEGF.
