3月27日．成功举办五届的青岛国际时装周在北京宣布．自2006年起更名为“中国（青岛）国际时装周”．与中国国际时装周一同成为两个有着不同定位的国家级的专业发布活动。今后中国（青岛）国际时装周定位为“中国新锐时装设计师的摇篮．中国新锐时尚品牌的诞生地”．成为中国国际时装周的开幕预演。
On March 27, Qingdao Fashion Week, which has been success fully held for 5 years, announced in Beijing that it will change its name to ＂International Fashion Week Qingdao China＂ since 2006. Both China Fashion Week and International Fashion Week Qingdao China will become national speciality exhibitions but in different orientation. Since then, International Fashion Week Qingdao China will pitch to become ＂the cradle for China new fashion designers and the birthplace for China original new fashion brands＂ and the rehearsal of China Fashion Week.
