幽门螺杆菌(HP)是多种胃肠道疾病的主要致病因素,一直以来认为胃部是其主要聚集地,近年来的研究发现人类口腔中也存在一定数量的HP,一定条件下会引起某些口腔相关性疾病,并且与胃肠道疾病的发生具有某种关系,可能是胃部HP复发再感染的来源.

Helicobacter pylori（HP）, responsible for many gastrointestinal diseases, has been considered to mainly inhabit in stomach for a long time past. But recent research has proved that it also lives in oral cavity and can result in some oral diseases on certain conditions. It is also relevant to some gastrointestinal diseases and recurrent infection in stomach.
