通过实例介绍了用机械和软件编程相结合的方法扩展ＮＣ线切割机的加工范围。

NC Wire-cut EDM machine is widely used in tool making industry, but sometimes, there are some workpieces that can not be machined on an existing machine because its limit in working range. By the method introduced here, such workpieces that can not be cut in existing machine in before will be machined.The applications of existing machine is expanded by combined the machinery with software programming.And an example is given in the paper.
