摘要
长三角一体化发展既是提升我国国家竞争力的战略需要,也是该地区两省一市及周边地区的共同诉求。长三角现有交通体系虽然得到长足发展和进步,但铁路建设严重滞后,运输结构严重不合理。小汽车正快速进入居民家庭,大城市交通进入敏感和困难时期,必须优先发展公共交通、加快轨道交通建设、强化现代交通工程技术的推广应用、提高交通管理水平。
The integrated development of the Yangtze-River-Delta (YRD) region is not only the strategic requirement for promoting our national competitiveness, but also the common requests voiced by the two provinces and a city within the region as well as the vicinity areas. Despite the fact that a significant progress has been made in the development of the existing transportation systems within the YRD region, the construction of rail transportation infrastructure is much behind the schedule, leading to an inappropriate transportation structure. Automobiles are getting owned by households in a high pace, giving rise to a sensitive and difficult period of traffic operations and management in metropolitan areas. Under these circumstances, we have to develop our public transportation systems with a high priority, to expedite the construction of our rail infrastructure, to promote the adoption and application of modem transportation engineering technologies, and to improve our transportation operation and management onto a high level.
