An Extraction of the U.S. 2005 Urban Mobility Report

The U.S. Texas Transportation institute （TTI） issues each year an annual report on urban mobility of major urban areas in the United States. Based on data collected in and before 2003 from 85 urban areas, the 2005 report assesses a series of urban mobility measures, and points out that congestion within U.S. urban areas continues to grow. The report provides a list of problems caused by congestion, and recommends actions that need to be taken to improve traffic operations and management. The report also includes a comparative analysis on benefits derived from those actions.
