In the procedure of developing a program, the design and output of reports are frequently bothering programmers and infecting the productivity of programming. This article studies and discusses the question of how to take advantage of Microsoft Excel as a carrier to make quick reports, to visit data and control formats of reports by means of embedding VBA instructions into a program or via a Java agent to access Excel objects, and eventually, provides a common solution to the reports design in programming.
