Remote Monitoring System Based on ARM and GPRS Network

主要介绍一种基于嵌入式处理器ARM平台以及GPRS网络通信技术实现远程数据传输的系统,从而实现远程数据和图像实时监控功能。核心部分主要包括利用嵌入式处理器ARM实现以太网协议到GPRS协议之间的转换、数字图像的处理;利用当前比较成熟的GPRS技术实现远程无线通信等。由于GPRS网络具有永远在线、快速登录、按量收费和自由切换等优点,从而保证了系统的实用性、稳定性,并且大大减少了系统的建设投资和运营费用。

This paper mainly introduces a system based on embedded CPU and GPRS network, which accomplishes the transmission and supervisor of remote data. The core of this system includes the transition of protocol from Ethernet to GPRS, the disposal of data image and the communication via GPRS. It has the advantages of always on-line, logging on promptly, charging by quantity, switching freely and so on. Therefore, it ensures the stability and greatly reduces the investment and running expenditure.
