Recently, the multi-agent modeling and simulation based on the CAS （Complex Adaptive System） theory have been highlighted in the field of complex systems. The paper sorts and describes the main research problems in the study of the multi-agent modeling and simulation based on the CAS theory after the introduction of its characteristics and main ideas. Finally, the main problems and development trend of this field are analyzed and summarized.
