英语教学中的文化教学刍议

A Tentative Discussion about Culture Teaching in English Teaching

语言是文化的载体,是文化传递的重要媒介。语言教学包含文化教学。因此,文化教学的内容、过程、方法是语言教学中不可分割的组成部分。充分挖掘文化教学的内涵,从中西文化对比入手,全方位领会文化教学在英语教学中的地位并结合英语文化教学的阶段性、交际性原则和特点,可以加强学生的语言能力,突出异域文化和己域文化差异对比,让学生在不同层面上全面认识英语文化现象,推进英语文化教学新理念的确立。

Languages are the carriers of cuhure and the major medium of cultural transmission. Languages teaching include the culture teaching. So the content, the process and the method of culture teaching are inseparable parts of languages teaching. We should bring out the connotation of culture teaching fully and learn the position of cultural teaching in English teaching in all domains from the contrast between Chinese cuhure and western culture. This will improve students＇ English and make the students know the differences between their own culture and others＇ culture. It also makes the students learn English from different levels. Meanwhile, it is helpful to establish the new concept of the English teaching as well.
