摘要
介绍了基于Solid W orks特征造型的特点及分类,并从设计、工艺、加工的角度阐述了特征的定义。对如何提取Solid W orks零件特征的几何信息进行了研究,提出了三种特征提取方法。并以Solid W orks中的零件为例,通过VC++6.0语言设计程序,成功地提取了零件特征的几何信息,将之保存在数据库中,为CAPP/CAM系统对数据的利用做好了准备。
This paper introduces characteristic and type part feature based on Solid Works, further more clarifies definition of feature in the position of design, technics and machining. Put forward three methods to extract part features through researching methods of extracting geometrical information of part features based on Solid Works. And successfully extract geometrical information of part features from a Solid Works part using VC ++6.0, then save these into the database. It is no problem for them to be used by CAPP and CAM systems.
