The way to judge the inner leakage of the cold box which is the important energy saving equipment in the ammonia plant was introduced from the process aspect, and the reasons from the several aspects such as prceess, equipment and maintenance were analysed, and the relevant preventive precautions to stabilize the cold box running condition were put forward.
