Effects of Smoking on Enzyme in Testis of Mice

目的观察吸烟对小鼠睾丸酶活性的影响,探讨吸烟致睾丸损伤的可能机制。方法用分光光度法检测睾丸组织匀浆中酸性磷酸酶(ACP)、乳酸脱氢酶(LDH)和一氧化氮合成酶(NOS)的活性。结果长时间吸烟可引起睾丸组织匀浆中酸性磷酸酶(ACP)、乳酸脱氢酶(LDH)的活性显著下降,一氧化氮合成酶(NOS)的活性显著升高。结论吸烟对睾丸中一些酶活性的影响可能是其引起雄性生殖损伤的机制之一。

Objective To study the effect of smoking on certain enzymes in the testis of mice and to explore the possible mechanism for reproductive damage in male mice by smoking. Methods Activities of acid phosphatase （ ACP） , lactate dehydrogenase （ LDH ） and nitric oxide synthase （ NOS ） in homogenate of the testis were determined with speetrophotometry. Results ACP and LDH of testis significantly decreased but activities of NOS increased after a long time smoking. Conclusions Effects of smoking on certain enzymes in the testis would be one of important mechanisms for reproductive damage.
