Yin Ba is director of the Institute of Astrology of the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital of Tibet Autonomous Region. By pure coincidence, he became inthtuated with astrology and Tibetan calendar calculation. Later, he has compiled a computerized Tibetan-language astrological data processing system and published a number of monographs on Tibetan astrology.
