摘要
地处经济欠发达的西北地区高校的图书馆在开展参考咨询工作中存在着机构设置不尽合理,服务内容单一,服务方式以传统口头咨询为主的问题。制约西北地区高校图书馆开展参考咨询工作的三个因素是:西北地区的经济落后;人力资源不足;大学生信息素质水平较低。解决该问题的对策一是要引起图书馆领导对该项工作的重视;二是要配备新型参考馆员,提高其业务技能和信息素质;三是要加强大学生信息素质教育,积极培养大学生的参考咨询意识,推动图书馆参考咨询工作的发展。
Reference service in university libraries is not satisfactorily reasonable in their organization setup and insufficient in their Service.The oral consultation is prevalent. The article has further analyzed three factors that restrain the reference service at these university libraries: first, the Northwest is backward in economy; second, the human resources are insufficient; third, university students" information quality is low. The countermeasures for solving the Current problem are as follows: libraries leaders should pay due attention to this work; new librari- ans should be employed to improve their business skill and information quality; university students" information quality should be developed with their awareness of reference consultation cultivated and consultation work pushed forward.
