City is a kind of social- economic-natural complex ecosystem. It regards environment as body, economy as use, ecology as outline and culture as routine. Urban ecological management is a self-integration and self-adaption process towards sustainable development based on ecosystem capacity of urban and regional area. Its goal is to promote city and county ecosystem changing towards greening, purifying, beautifying and activating. Urban ecological management involves ecological capital, ecological metabolization and eco-services. It includes system management and capacity building of ecological sanitation, ecological security, ecological landscape, ecological industry and ecological culture from regional, industry and human settlement scales.
