A Brief Introduction of UML and It＇ s Application

近年来UML在世界范围，已经逐渐成为面向对象技术领域占主导地位的标准建模语言。但在我国目前还处于UML应用的初级阶段。本文对UML产生的背景及其基本概念进行阐述，并结合实例进一步描述UML建模的方式，最后对UML的发展趋势进行预测。

UML is recently becoming the standard model building language dominant in the field of object-oriented technology all over the world. However,China is still at an initial stage of UML applications. This article illustrates the background of the creation and fundamental concepts of UML.Then,it takes one more step to illustrate,with a real case,the methodology for building models with UML.At the end,this article tries to shed some light onto the future development of UML.
