《英格力士》①是一部典型的“成长小说”②。本文试图从“性”这一成长的核心问题着手,全面解析《英格力士》主人公少年刘爱置身“无性时代”的性成长历险,透视其性成长困厄的文化负载,以及长大成人的内在人格的发展。提出成长小说回归“有性成长”(或健康成长、完整成长)本体的“成长”理念。

English is a typical text of novel of initiation. This paper tries to analyze the sex growing adventures of Liu Ai, the hero of the novel, in an asexuality- age, to find cultural factors and the development of his inherent personality and put forward the idea of whole-growing.
