The humanistic Olympic Games are the core concept of 2008 Olympic Games. It combines the Olympic spirit with China＇s 5000-year culture to exhibit the humanistic theme of ＂harmony, exchange and development＂ and to attain the objective of the worldwide peace, friendship and progress. The humanistic Olympic Games will be based on human beings, eulogizing people and showing respect for people, providing an opportunity to build a harmoniously developing individual and city images. This concept will have a far-reaching influence on constructing China＇s harmonious society.
