The Influence of Management Support on Enterprise Information System(IS) Implementation Success

摘要管理支持是企业信息系统实施成功的关键因素之一。本文分析了管理支持的内涵,指出其包含管理介入和管理参与两层含义。通过深入剖析管理支持与信息系统实施成功的关系,结合案例进行实证研究,指出管理支持促进企业制定和开展各项实施制度和实践活动,积极影响组织实施氛围,增强员工创新使用最终促成信息系统实施成功。 Management support is one of critical factors influencing information Systems＇ implementation success. The paper summarizes the concept of management support which covers two level meanings： management involvement and management participation. Examining the relationship with management support and IS implementation success, a case study is ＇employed to illustrate that management support foster enterprise＇s managers instituting and developing high - quality implementation polices and practices. These policies and practices engender a positive climate for IS implementation, which leads in turn to implementation success.
