边吏张虔陀与唐朝、南诏关系之破裂

The Rupture of the Relationship between Zhang Qiantuo and the Tang Dynasty and Nanzhou

天宝年间,由唐朝一手扶持的南诏地方势力与唐朝决裂,转与宿敌吐蕃结盟。南诏政治态度的急剧变化,造成唐朝政治格局的改变,因此是中国古代历史进程中值得重视的事件。关于唐朝与南诏关系的破裂,《旧唐书》、《新唐书》、《资治通鉴》、《唐会要》、《册府元龟》等史籍认为是张虔陀等边吏无理欺压南诏所致。笔者就此提出不同看法,并分析《旧唐书》等史籍持有上述看法的原由。

During the period of Tainbao, Nanzhao, a local authority supported the Tang dynasty,broke with the Tang dynasty and allied with Tibetan regime, its old enemy. About the rupture, such historical records as Old Tang History, New Tang History, Zi Zhi Tong Jian, etc. hold that it should be contributed to oppression of such frontier defenee officicals as Zhang Qiantuo. The author of this paper takes a different idea and makes an analysis of the reasons why the above historical records take such a view.
