This article mainly analyzes the artistic conception in Nineteen Ancient Poems from the perceptive of acceptivist aesthetics. There is an ＂undecided deserted area＂ , namely, a blank in meaning in the text. As a result, there arises a kind of aesthetic effect of shadowiness and blankness. The seemingly brief poems of Nineteen Ancient Poems create an artistic atmosphere that is boundless for imagination and represents a broad and multi-polar spiritual space. And it reaches a height where the creation of the creating subject and the recreation and imagination of the acceptors inosculate.
