西部大开发对地区经济发展的影响——以四川为例

China's West Development Strategy's Effects on Regional Economic Development: the Case of Sichuan Province

实施西部大开发战略是中国改革开放以来的又一次重大的区域政策调整,其目的是缩小东、西部之间的经济发展差距,实现区域经济的协调发展。本文结合二元经济结构的特征,以结构转换模型为基础设定相关的经济发展指标,根据四川省的经验数据,运用“事件分析法”考察西部大开发对地区经济发展所产生的影响。研究发现,大开发政策对地区经济发展的影响并不明显,实行政策调整是必要的。

Carrying out the strategy of west development is mother important adjustment to regional policy in China since refoming and opening. Its aim is to narrow the economic development gap between East and West and to promote harmonious regional economic development. This paper firstly designs some economic indexes based on Structure Transformation Model according to the dual economic character of China, then analyzes the policy effects of China＇ s west development through the way of event study based on the empirical data of Sichuan province. The study founding shows that policy effects are not obvious and a policy adjustment is indispensable.
