李白和杜甫是我国文学史上同时出现的两位伟大诗人。在诗歌创作方法、审美意象、诗歌语言、创作体裁等诸多方面各显异彩,风格迥异,各有特长。李白长于七绝,夸张大胆、想象奇特、清新自然、天然浑成,体现了李白追求自由的浪漫主义精神。杜甫尤善七律,取典型的人和事,呈现广阔的社会生活,寓主观于客观,用个性化的语言塑造形象,浸透着诗人忧国忧民的情怀。语言精练、准确,体现着充满浓厚生活气息的现实主义精神。同时两人均有现实主义与浪漫主义结合的作品及精神体现。

Li Bai and Du Fu were two contemporary great poets in Chinese literary history. In creative ways, aesthetic elements, poetry language, and creative forms of literature, their poetry had brilliant splendor, different style and different forte. Li Bai was adept in boldly exaggeration, strange imagination, natural cut and polish, which embodied the spirit of Li Bai pursuit of freedom romanticism. Du Fu was good at Qilu, and using typical persons and affairs to show broad social life, and combined subjective to the objective, with personalized language image, immersed with poet relating to the state of his language concise, accurate, strong life like Du Fu embodied the spirit of realism. But they are realism and romanticism and spirit embodied in the works.
