大学校园文化的内涵有广义和狭义之分,大学校园文化建设既是老问题也是新问题。自“大学文化”这个概念出现以后,大学校园文化只能作狭义的理解,特指为大学顺利完成治学育人任务而营造的一种校园文化环境。随着我国高等教育大众化的迅速实现,近几年来出现了一批大学城和新校园,面临着新老校区的大学校园文化建设如何以充实内涵为重点相互衔接和融合的新课题。我国大学校园文化建设的战略目标是以“以人为本”的科学发展观为指导,坚持高品位,把我国大学校园建设成为自然美与人文美、科学美和谐发展的绿色校园、人文校园、科技校园和和谐校园。因此,从理论与实践的结合上进一步深入探讨大学校园文化的内涵和建设问题在当前有重要的理论和实践意义。

The connotation of the college campus culture has broad sense and narrow sense. The building of the college campus culture remains an old as well as new problem. Since the concept of college culture was put forward, the college campus culture has been understood in a narrow sense, especially referring to a kind of campus culture environment created for colleges and universities to fulfill the task of educating and nurturing talents. With the quick realization of popularization of higher education in our country, a batch of college cities and new campuses have come into being in recent years. As a result, we face the new subject of how to enrich the content of the college campus culture building in the old and new campuses. Guided by the people - first value on scientific development, our strategic goal of college campus culture building is to persist in high - level culture and build the college campuses into the green, hu- manities - oriented, technology - oriented and harmonious campuses combining natural beauty and humanistic beauty, scientific beauty and harmonious development. Therefore, it is of great theoretic as well as practical significance to make further study of the connotation and building of college campus culture.
