An empirical research into cooperative learning mode in College English teaching

摘要 本文以合作学习为理论框架,通过实验方法检验大学本科生在这一学习模式下的学习效果。120名非英语专业的本科生被分为实验组和控制组进行了为期一年的实证研究。实验组采用合作学习模式,而控制组沿用传统学习模式。通过对两组的成绩的数据统计分析,结果表明采用合作学习模式能够帮助学习者提高英语水平。 The study was implemented to explore the learning effectiveness with cooperative learning pedagogy. 120 non -English majors were divided into experimental class and control class; the experimental class have carried out the cooperative learning program for one year. The statistical data of the exams in two classes shows that studer, ts greatly improve their English proficiency under cooperative learning pedagogy.
