摘要
上世纪80年代以来,外语教学研究与实践都是交际教学法独领风骚.交际教学法认为语言的本质在于它的社会交际性,语言教学不仅仅要让学生获得语言能力,更重要的是让学生获得交际能力。本论文以历史的眼光阐述了交际教学法的产生,交际教学法的实质,以及交际教学法在应用时出现的一些问题。
Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) Approach has been becoming significant in both foreign language research and teaching practice since 1980s. It claims that soeio-cultural competence is the essence of language, that language teaching is not only to foster learners' language competence, but more important to foster their communicative competence. This paper casts a historical perspective of the emergence of CLT and its main characteristics, and also points out some problems that appeared during the spreading of the communicative approach in China.
