科学的研究方法是任何科学赖以建立和发展的工具。犯罪学研究对象的复杂性决定了它对研究方法具有特殊的要求。目前我国犯罪学研究步履艰难甚至停滞不前的一个重要原因就在于研究方法上欠缺科学性,同时无法将理论研究和实用价值与实践有机结合。为此,认清形势,努力进行犯罪学研究方法的探索和改革,成为当前实现犯罪学研究发展质的飞跃的关键。

Scientific methods of research are indispensable to the establishment and development of any subject and the objective complexion of criminology demands its peculiar methods of research. At present, the research of criminology in our country is walking with difficulty, even coming to a halt, which, to a certain degree, attributes to unscientific methods of research, thus resulting in the separation of the theoretical study and valuable practice. It is vital to see clearly the status quo and improve our approaches to criminology so as to make a qualitative leap of criminological research.
